THE ART OF SHIFTING FOCUS TOWARDS THE RESTORATIVE WISDOM OF STILLNESS

In our busy modern lives, we yearn for stillness.

However, our daily choices often keep us in the loop of running away from it. We’re left exhausted amid the draining noise of staying busy.

But what new possibilities might reveal themselves if we pause and accept the invitation into the vast spaciousness of stillness?

What if we allowed the stillness to be filled with all of ourselves?

You are invited to an experiential afternoon of restorative and embodied awareness through mindful movement and the non-doing act of Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep).

In the words of Rumi:

“Now I shall be silent and let the silence divide that which is true from that which lies.”

Yoga Nidra is an age-old practice of yogic sleep and is composed of breath, body and awareness techniques, resulting in the HAPPENING of relaxation which frees the healing potential of the body.

We will rediscover treasured sides of ourselves and the wisdom of our hearts, which we might have forgotten through all our busy-ness.

The epidemic levels of stress are caused by our lack of knowing how to stop – relaxation doesn’t happen by doing more.

Practicing non-doing is an art which opens the door into the healing wisdom of stillness.

Refreshing perspective on your everyday self-care tool set promise to be a valuable, life-changing gift to yourself as you enter the Festive Season and New Year.
